Kotak Wheelchair Marathon is Indias first Wheelchair Marathon. This marathon is open to all runners, not just wheelchair users.
The purpose of the event is two-fold:
1. Raise awareness about the need to prevent Spinal Cord Injury
2. Raise resources to support persons paralyzed due to Spinal Cord Injury.
Kotak Wheelchair Marathon is organized by The Spinal Foundation, which is a Pan-India self-help group for persons with Spinal Cord Injury.
