The objective of the event is to spread awareness about the lives of various socially and economically backward children. MADathon also aims to raise awareness about a healthy living and staying fit. MADathon offers the running distances of 21Km; 10Km, 5Km and 3Km giving each runner an opportunity, to run in their comfort zone.
All 3 events have the same registration fee and all runners will be given a running T-shirt, running bib (NO timing chip), finisher’s medal, Finshier Certificate and a refreshment box.
> 21KM -For runners with 10K experience this is a race to hit the 20K plus mark before running a full marathon. The Half Marathon event is happening for the first time in MADathon. It is for general wellness and benefit of the society.
> 10KM-The ever popular 10K event was a runaway success in 2014 attracting 300 runners in MADathon’s first edition. This year the 10K run will be for a different cause. If you are a regular short distance runner, this should be your go for MADathon 2015. It is for the awareness of Breast Cancer.
> 5KM-Making A Difference does not require you to be a professional long distance runner. You can run a 5K event and still support the cause. It is to spread awareness for Child Rights.
> 3KM- For those of you who are not into sports and fitness and yet want to contribute to this noble cause, this is the perfect avenue. Show us your support by participating in the short 3 km run.
None of these runs are limited to specific age groups, women or children. It is open to anyone willing to participate.
