This show is an indigenously created English musical, that unravels the beautiful culture of India through traditional songs, dance forms & drama far beyond the boundaries of live theatre. The show is breathtakingly set to transport its audience into the magic & visual tapestry of Indian music & dance performed by over 150 children, who will be trained by accomplished artistes in the field.

What is the event all about?

This event is a spectacular Indian musical workshop. Every child who joins our workshop will be given training in Acting, Singing and Dancing by a handpicked team of professional Actors, Musicians and Choreographers. Your child gets an opportunity here not only to bring out their musical and acting talents but also build a sense of comradery among their peers. We aspire to encourage children to develop their self-esteem and inspire them to believe in themselves and what they can achieve through the magical world of musical theatre.

When & where is the event scheduled?

The event is scheduled for Sunday, 11th February 2018 at Sri Mutha Venkata Subba Rao – Concert Hall @ Lady Andal, Harrington Road, Chetpet.

What will my child benefit from participating in this show?

The children will be a part of a holistic musical workshop with training in music, dance & theatre by renowned experts in the field.

Is Trinity College of London evaluating the show?

For the first time in theatre, the prestigious Trinity College of London will assess & grade the entire musical production.

Will my child get his/her Trinity College Certificate?

Yes. The entire cast & crew will receive their individual theatre & performance certificates of merit upon successful completion of the show.

What is the rehearsal schedule?

The rehearsals will be held on weekends starting 16th September 2017. Participants will be informed of the rehearsal schedule on the start date.

Where will the rehearsals be conducted?

Rehearsals will be conducted at the annexure hall @ Lady Andal School, next to the Lady Andal Auditorium, Harrington Road, Chetpet

What will happen if I miss rehearsals?

Children who do not meet the minimum rehearsal hours required for the training will not be allowed to perform in the show.

How do I register to participate in the show?

Please click on the Eventjini link & fill out the details in the registration form. There is a registration fee of Rs.1000/- which can be paid through credit or debit card. Your receipt & registration confirmation will be sent to you via email.

  • Management reserves all right to accept/refuse admission
  • Management reserves the right to change the date/venue of the rehearsals & the program depending on administrative needs
  • Children who do not attend rehearsals on a regular basis will not be allowed to perform in the final show.
  • All children will have to participate & perform to receive their Trinity College certificate
  • Management will not be held responsible for loss of personal property or for injuries/accidents caused at the time of rehearsals/final show
  • All costumes/props used in the show is a property of the management. Participants will have to return them after the completion of the show.
  • All photographs, videos of participants will be used by the discretion of the management for promotional & marketing purposes of the show.
  • The Registration fee doesn't include Workshop fee. The Management will not return or refund the registration fee and/or workshop fee in full or in part in the event of terminations or withdrawal from the program. Pls contact us for more information on workshop fee.
  • The tickets to the final show will have to be purchased in required denomination from the respective event organizers. The management will not issue free/complimentary/discounted passes.
  • The Management’s decision will be final in all matters related directly or indirectly pertaining to the show
