LIC Virtuathon 2021

The LIC Virtuathon 2021 is a virtual marathon co-organized by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and Stepbuck for all fitness enthusiasts from all the corners of India.

Why a virtual marathon?

The new year comes with an opportunity to start afresh or try newer things. While 2020 made us realize the importance of good health, 2021 is all about reinforcing the same. During the times of the pandemic, with limited mobility and constant negative news, we strongly believe that our event provides a positive impetus that is much needed to keep that spirit going. So, we urge you to begin 2021 with a fitness challenge that will not only set the tone for the year but will also serve as a reminder as to why you started in the first place.

Stepbuck is an incentive-based fitness app that rewards you to get fit, combining the potential of both Fitness and E-Commerce into a single product. We are partnering with LIC to organize a Virtual Marathon called the LIC Virtuathon 2021. Across the three-day event, we will have multiple contests and exciting rewards for all users along with cash prizes for the winners. We aim at bringing out the best in our participants everyday by motivating them to achieve their fitness goals and inspire others during their journey.

The participants will have to walk or jog on a daily basis and clock their maximum steps for the entire event period. Walk at any time of the day, anywhere at your own pace! Walk at a stretch or in intervals – only your total accumulated daily distance counts – including your trip to the bathroom! Yes. That too! At the end of this event, the top performers will be awarded with goodies and e-certificates from our partners.

How to participate?

1. Download and register on Stepbuck on your iOS or Android phones before or during 26th, 27th and 28th of February, 2021
2. Walk your maximum steps on the event days and compete with your friends.
3. Winners get great rewards from Stepbuck and our brand partners.
4. Follow us on our social media platforms for announcements and contests regarding the event.
