Run Bhopal Run 2020 (Virtual)

Applicable to All Event Participants
In case of minor, the waiver and consent has to be agreed and accepted by the parent/guardian.
In consideration of the opportunity provided by Bhopal Runners to participate in a RBR Virtual health series 2020, I hereby voluntarily state, represent and agree as follows: I/my ward am voluntarily entering or agreeing to participate in the virtual events. I/my ward agree not to enter or participate in the Event unless I/my ward am healthy, medically able and properly trained and agree that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to my participating in the Event to determine if I am medically able to participate in the Event. I recognize that participation in the Event is a potentially hazardous activity and I willingly assume all risks associated with such participation, including, but not limited to, falls; contact with other people, or vehicular or other traffic; the effects of the weather, including heat and/or humidity, wind, cold, and wet or slippery surfaces; physical injury from the act of running itself, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

ETHICAL WAIVER
I/my ward understand that use of any type of vehicle, roller skates, inline skates are not allowed while cycling and no vehicle or cycle while running in the event which may disqualify me and I will abide by this policy. I also understand that any unethical act from my side during the activity will result to my disqualification.

MEDICAL WAIVER
I understand that l/my ward must be of, and must train to, an appropriate level of fitness to participate in such a physically demanding event and l/my ward have obtained a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner, allowing me to participate in the event/s;
I/my ward shall follow and adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines/Government Rules (GR) that the Government of India or the respective State Government/s enforce with regards to public lockdown, social distancing, public gathering etc. In my/my ward's failure to follow any such guidelines/GR, I/ my ward shall not hold the Event promoters/their employees/Event Sponsors/Event Partners/their associates responsible for my/my ward's actions or the consequences thereof; neither shall I / my ward hold Bhopal Runners responsible for any medical condition / emergency arising due to the covid-19 infections during the term of the event.

PUBLICITY RELEASE:
I grant permission to Bhopal Runners to use, publish or license or authorize others to use, publish or license any photographs, motion pictures, video or sound recordings, and/or any other record of my participation (or of my kids or family members if I choose to register them in the Events, including, but not limited to portrait, picture, likeness, image and/or personal information, such as name, age, gender, domicile, race results, club affiliation, for any purpose without remuneration.
CONSENT FOR THE MINOR AND SENIOR VETERANS (below 18 years and above 55 years)
I give permission to my child/elder who has expressed an interest in participating in the Run Bhopal Run… I will take full responsibility for his/her activity as a parent/guardian and consequences resulting from it.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE:
Having read this Waiver/Release and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application for the Event, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, do hereby waive, release, discharge, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue Bhopal Runners., or any Event sponsors, staff and other representatives, agents, and successors of of the foregoing event, from any and all present and future claims and liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, arising out of my participation in the Event. In case I register my kids for the event, I will be responsible for their safety and well being during the Event and the Releasee will in no way be liable. I further acknowledge that the Releasee reserve the right to change the details (such as the date, start time,distance,prizes and any other decisions pertaining to event ) of the Event at any time for any reason, and I hereby waive and release any claims that I may have as a result of any such change.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING:
I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER/RELEASE, AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING MY RIGHT TO BRING ACTIONS AGAINST THE RELEASEES. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM SIGNING THE WAIVER/RELEASE FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
