THE BIG BALIPU (TBB)
TBB means the big run in Tulu the local language of south western coast of Karnataka. Started in the year 2016, the proceeds from the marathon are used for renovating schools or providing education to children in Government schools.
TBB is organised by Mangalore Round Table Trust and Mangalore Ladies Circle Trust to raise fund for their charitable causes. Both the organisations have zero overheads ie. all the funds raised are used 100% for charity and all admin expenses are borne by the members.
Due to the pandemic this year the marathon will be held virtually. You can run/walk anywhere and anytime for 2 or 5 or 10 or 21 kms between 5am on 17th October 2020 and 11 am on 18th October 2020 and submit the details of you activity.
Event details
Run/walk for 2/5/10/21 kms any time between 5am on Saturday, 17th October 2020 and 11am Sunday, 18th October 2020.
Tracking
Track your run/walk using Strava or Run keeper or Garmin or Google Fit or any app of your choice which can capture the distance run/walked, pace, moving time
